Workers are busy producing in the workshop of Hunan Jenson Display.
In the provincial intelligent demonstration workshop of Jenson Display, high-end display screens are produced here and sent to Gree, Casio, LG and other well-known enterprises at home and abroad.
Shenzhen Jenson Display, the predecessor of Hunan Jenson Display, was a leading domestic monochrome LCD producer. In 2010, the company settled in Yongxing County, Chenzhou City as an industrial transfer project.
“Our supply chain and market were in the Pearl River Delta region. Chenzhou was the first choice for our industrial transfer,” said Lai Jun, deputy manager of the company.
They inspected many places in Jiangxi, Hunan and Guangxi, and the main reason for choosing Chenzhou was its well-developed high-speed railway and expressway networks, which can effectively reduce the transportation cost.
Besides, population was another factor for its settlement in Yongxing. Lai Jun said as a labor-intensive enterprise, it has never been restricted in its development by labor problems. Now settling in Yongxing turns out to be a wise choice.
Thanks to the favorable environment, Jenson Display has seen steady growth for years and obtained such honorary titles as “national high-tech enterprise”, “national little giant enterprise” and “national green factory”.
It has formed an industrial layout with Chenzhou headquarters as the manufacturing base, Hong Kong subsidiary as the overseas marketing platform, and R&D centers in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Changsha. In 2021 the total annual output value of Jenson Display reached 750 million yuan, and it is expected to exceed 1 billion yuan in 2023 when this enterprise can pay 80 million yuan in tax.
At the same time, Jenson Display is preparing for listing on Shenzhen Stock Exchange GEM in 2023.
“If it goes well, Jenson Display is expected to be the first local listed company in Yongxing, which will be a milestone in the development of our enterprise.” Lai Jun is confident about future development. He said that their planning for the next three to five years is to achieve an annual total output value of 2 to 3 billion yuan.
